The second regular monthly spoken-word open mic night(second Wednesday of the month)! Run by local authors (and Caper staff), and designed to create an encouraging, creative, inclusive space for writers who want to share their prose works in progress – across all genres. Slots are 5 minutes long – enough time for a reading of about 1,000 words. Writers sign up for a slot on the door, first come, first served.
Each session will include a reading from a guest author, who will also share insights into their creative journey from first draft to completed book.
The session will run from 7.30-9.30pm, and include a 30 minute interval – a chance to meet your fellow-writers and share ideas.
