Thursday 31 July, 4pm and 7.30pm
Old Fire Station, George Street, OX1 2AQ
A one-man play in which the actor Jack Ellis plays three roles – himself, Paul Gauguin and Van Gogh. With over 20 hand-held canvases, he tells the extraordinary story of Van Gogh and Gauguin sharing a small house in Arles and their tempestuous relationship over a period of nine weeks in 1888 – and why it is such an important event in the life of this actor.
